How many kilos of oranges do the Gilles throw?

Each Gille throws about 30 kg of oranges during the Binche carnival.

Knowing that 1000 Gilles take part in the carnival, we can safely say that 30 tons of oranges fill the sky of Binche on Shrove Tuesday.
