Press Team

The press office does its utmost to help journalists while they cover the Carnival of Binche. The press office provides the most accurate information about the carnival's folklore, traditions and organization.

Journalists (and their teams), photographers and reporters must request a press pass from the city of Binche's communication department. Accreditation badges are mandatory for all media professionals covering the carnival, and these also make it easier for them to move around during the three shrove carnival days.

During the carnival, the press office will be established at the tourist information office at Binche's Grand-Place (near the main entrance of the town hall).

The press office provides the following amenities for you to use:

• Reception and information service
• A computer with an ADSL internet connection and a printer
• Press files
• A lockable room
